Innovation in the field of cardiac rhythm management device therapy is occurring at a rapid pace. This chapter reviews developments in creating a better energy source, preserving vascular access, advancing lead and conductor design, improving out patient monitoring, and improving access to cardiac rhythm management devices in low and middle income countries.
