The AI revolution will come when high-quality healthcare is accessible to all. We describe steps towards this in autism screening. We developed an app displaying stimuli eliciting behaviors that allow to detect signs of autism. These are automatically detected and quantified using machine learning, enabling an early, scalable, and accurate detection. This exemplifies the potential for mobile AI to provide an accessible approach to health and the technology challenges that come with it.
