The structure and absolute stereochemistry of dihydroflorilenalin, a new guaianolide isolated from Helenium autumnale L., have been determined on the basis of physicochemical data, chemical transformation, and X-ray crystallographic analysis. © 1975, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
