An exact, yet labor-saving technique is developed for synthesizing low-pass and impedance-matching networks at UHF and microwave frequencies. Example designs are presented for maximally-flat magnitude and Chebyshev equal-ripple filter responses, and for networks to match real-to-real and real-to-complex impedances.
