My current community partnerships include Root Causes and Iglesia Emanuel. Students work with their food distribution services and K-12 tutoring.
In recent years I partnered with the Durham County Public Health Department to assist their implementation and dissemination of results for the Community Health Assessment to the Durham Spanish-speaking community and in the development of the Sugar Smart Durham campaign.
From 2016-2018 I partnered with an editor from the Raleigh-based Spanish-language newspaper Que Pasa and a journalist from the Charlotte-based Spanish-language newspaper Mundo Hispánico to develop and publish articles written by undergraduate students.
