Since 2017 I have partnered with the Durham Public Health Department to assist their implementation and dissemination of results for the Community Health Assessment to the Durham Spanish-speaking community.
Since 2016 I have partnered with an editor from the Raleigh-based Spanish-language newspaper Que Pasa and a journalist from the Charlotte-based Spanish-language newspaper Mundo Hispánico to learn about local journalism for the Latinx community and to develop and publish articles written by undergraduate students.
