Research Interests
My clinical research efforts are dedicated to designing and implementing innovative studies with other investigators within the NICHD-funded Pelvic Floor Disorders Network with direct influence on clinical management of common pelvic disorders.
Administratively, I am collaborating to establish a Women's Health Data Sciences program and seeking to build a research agenda around that effort focusing on clinical post graduate education, clinical operations, and quality of care.

This proposal seeks to improve quality of uterine fibroid management by primary care physicians and obstetrician/gynecologists at Duke and in Durham County by optimizing patient-provider communication about a complex condition where there are significant racial disparities, with multiple treatment options where patient preferences are crucial.
