I am a gynecologic oncologist with an interest in health outcomes and patient preferences. My group has performed several prospective studies of patient preferences regarding the side effects of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation therapy treatments for ovarian and cervical cancer. We have developed a number of health outcomes models to inform decisions related to gynecologic cancers, including screening, diagnostic testing, and treatment decisions for endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer. I currently serve on NRG Oncology’s Patient Centered Outcomes Research Committee and am co-chair of the Comparative Effectiveness Subcommittee for the NRG.
