Kaposi sarcoma (KS) is a neoplasm derived from human herpesvirus-8 (HHV-8)–infected cells that often presents with mucocutaneous, gastrointestinal, or pulmonary lesions. We report an unusual case of KS involving a cardiac allograft in a heart transplant recipient and discuss the potential for donor-derived HHV-8 infection.
